"Hi I'm Harvey Woodier, owner of Perfect Tan here in Orem Utah, we're a full service tanning salon, we have over twenty tanning beds, as well a state of the art spray on system. I often get asked I've reached my tanning plateau, I want to get a deeper tan. Remember, everybody will reach a tanning limit. You can only get so dark. And that depends by skin type. Once you've hit your tanning plateau, and you're using a good indoor tanning lotion, I often suggest to people maybe it's time to change your lotion. It's similar to changing your shampoo. You use the same shampoo over and over again, your hair tends to start to go limp and not the same. Then all of a sudden you use a new shampoo, it revives your hair. Same thing in tanning. I always tell people let's try a different tanning lotion, see if we can't bump your tan up a little bit more. I'm not saying you have to come any more, because once you've hit your tanning plateau, you're usually as dark as you're going to get. The next best thing to do to enhance it, change up your lotion, or often times we have a lot of our clients that like to tan and then they go right into our spray on tan. And that will also enhance their tan. Their pores are open from the tanning bed, they jump right into the spray on. It gives them a good, deep, dark tan, and usually last up to a week or more if they do that. So we have a lot of that, and we call that the cocktail or the double dip. Tan and then spray."
