"Hi, I'm Harvey Woodyatt, I'm owner of Perfect Tan here in Orem, Utah. We're a full service tanning salon. We have over 20 tanning beds, and a state of the art spray-on system, like I'm standing next to here. People often ask me, you know, I don't want to tan indoors, how fast can I get a tan by tanning outdoors. Now, my recommendation is, be careful with any tan outdoors, because honestly, people get sun burnt whether they're playing golf, tennis, at the pool, because you lose track of time. And people get overexposed real quickly, and they end up with a burn. And that's what happened to all of us as kids, is often times we were outside, and we didn't realize that we were out there, and we got a severe sunburn. So in an indoor tanning salon, it's a controlled environment. We only let people tan once every 24 to 48 hours. And then also, your only maximum time can be anywhere from 12 minutes to 20 minutes. And so the beds stop, and you have to get out. So you're not going to get overexposed. Outside, you're going to get overexposed. So you have to be very careful if you're doing anything in the sun, whether that be skiing, golfing, playing tennis, or even laying out by the pool. Be careful of your time, you know, and use a good sunblock. Indoors tanning, you don't have to use a sunblock, you use an indoor tanning lotion, controlled environment, set time, in and out, less than 20 minutes."
