When Is the Best Time to Tan Outside?

"Hi Harvy Woodier I'm the owner of Perfect Tan here in Orem Utah, we're a full service tanning salon. We offer twenty different types of tanning beds, as well as the state of the art spray on system like I'm tanning here. I get asked often what's the best time, if I'm on vacation or even outdoors to get a tan. You know you really want to avoid the worse hours, and that's between ten o'clock in the morning and two o'clock in the afternoon. That's when the sun is at it's intensity. You always want to make sure you have a high sunblock on, and that's PF factor of at least fifteen or higher. If you're fair skinned I would say thirty or higher. But, again remember you're outside and you'll loose track of time. So be careful just in the mid-portion of the day. Usually the sun is less intense after two o'clock in the afternoon. Really by the time you hit four or five o'clock it's really a lot less intensity there. But always use sunblock when you're tanning outside. In an indoor tanning facility again, it's a controlled atmosphere, you can tan anytime and you don't have to use a sunblock. And it's a nice relaxing tan. And you're in and out of here anywhere from ten minutes to twenty minutes."
