"All right, so now you're thinking, should I clean all my records? What records really need cleaning? And truthfully that's petty subjective. I mean unless your record's brand new or just you've kept it in really new condition, you've kept it really clean a cleaning could help but you really have to decide, is, does it look like there's any damage to this, I mean, can I hear any wear on this as far, that could be lifted with cleaning. I've got a record right here that, yeah you know, this could probably use some cleaning, it looks really dirty. I'm sure it would sound better with a cleaning. It just looks all scratched up, I played this at a club two nights ago, and it sounded fine, this record sounds perfect and it looks in horrible condition. I'd say, yeah I should probably clean it, it'll sound better. It'll always sound better, especially if you get an older, used records, cleaning it's always a good idea. But you don't have to, it's really up to you. If you feel it needs to sound better, then go for it."
