"First thing we're going to do is the sky. With most landscapes putting in the sky is probably the first thing you should be doing. The reason that you want to start with the sky is because it's behind everything and you can cover up areas of the sky as necessary to work the rest of your composition. So we're just going to put some violet blues into the sky here on the right hand side. That looks like a pretty good cloud structure, see how simple that was. Carry over a little bit of the violet right here and then blot up some areas."
