"Alright, so if you want to put your microphone into the mixer, you have the option of actually three different mics or it looks like four different mics. Mic one, two, three, or main mic. And they each have different levels themselves. You can turn them up and turn them down just the way you can turn up and turn down the turn tables or the iPod if you want to put it in. They have EQ. They don't have a high, mid, and a low. But they just have a high and a low. So if you need that low end when you're speaking, if you can't really hear it or if it's you're getting too much high end, you can turn it down. Now DJs occasionally do need to use a microphone. If you're gigging in a club, you obviously will never talk. And in my opinion, I like it that way. You play the music. The music speaks for itself. But when you're at like a wedding, someone wants to give a speech. You might need to give a speech. Kids parties you got to tell them what to do. You know the whatever dance they're going to do. So you occasionally might need to use a microphone."
