"Hi, I'm Laura from youngwritersworkshops.com, and I want to talk about how to write a book critique. A book critique is a form where you can take some of the arguments made in a book, or some of the points made in a book and give an opposing viewpoint, kind of pointing out some of the strengths and the weaknesses of a book. So, start out by making a list for yourself of what some of the points that you'd like to address in your critique are. Your list should include some that you agree with, and some that you have something opposing, an opposing viewpoint to. Next, organize it so that you have a paragraph for each point that you're addressing. You may wish to begin with your most important point, so decide which one you find the most important to talk about in your critique, and then organize that as your first paragraph. Each following paragraph should address a separate point that you'd like to critique. And then, write a concluding paragraph where you wrap up your overall critique by summarizing some of the points that you made. And those are some ideas about how you write a book critique."
