"Hi. I'm Laura from Youngwritersworkshops.com and I'm going to talk about how to self publish poetry. There's several ways you could go about this. And it really depends on how many copies you'd like and what your end goal is if you're going to choose to distribute these books or if they're gifts that you'd like to give to friends and family. There's several tools on line where you can use self publishing and do it electronically submitting it on line and then ordering as many copies as you'd like for your self publishing purposes. Lulu.com is one in particular where you can see a calculator that will help you figure out the costs. Another way to approach self publishing poetry is to do it in the more artistic way and you may choose to buy blank books and do it by hand or print some materials and then place them in the book. You could also use a copying store like Kinko's and have them bind your books. So that's a much more hands on sort of low tech way to do it is to bind them yourselves or go through a local binding shop to make copies and bind your own poetry books. A lot of this is just going to be guided by what you really envision as your outcome. Those are some ideas though about how you might start to think about doing self publishing of your poetry book."
