"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and dating coach and owner of NY Dating Coach here in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about what is the role of the maid of honor? And it's really to be as supportive as you can to the bride. It's to make her day as fabulous as it possible can be. And to really be there for her. Of course you remember you've got to do the toast at the reception so in your toast make sure that it's really a loving warm statement all about her. I think sometimes bridesmaids get wrapped up in their own story of which little stories about that are fun and how you came to know the couple and things like that. But make sure that your primary focus of you toast is about your girlfriend and the couple, and the bride. And, and besides that the bridesmaid; the maid of honor is there to help with her dress and make sure in helping her in picking it out, and then on the day of the wedding making sure that it it's all flowing down the isle as nicely as it should. And really just anything else that the bride needs help with. That's your primary role. This is Donna Barnes from New York City."
