"Hi, I'm Donna Barnes. I'm a life and dating coach and owner of NY Dating Coach, here in New York City. In this clip we'll talk about how to plan a wedding. And first and foremost, make sure you enjoy the process. You don't want to become a Bridezilla where you put too much importance on everything. A great way is to really give other people more control, and let go of it yourself. Go to the florist and pick some colors and say "Do something nice." They'll appreciate the freedom, and you'll get much better results, and then when you walk in you'll be surprised, instead of concerned that you did it wrong. So, really make sure that you take care of the relationships that you have with each other. I mean, the reason you're getting married in the first place is because you love each other and you want to spend your life together. Don't haggle over things about the wedding and cause it to break up before it even happens. So, really most important, enjoy the process, and then hire somebody if you need help. Or if you can't afford a wedding planner, than ask other people that have gotten married for their best advice on what they did to make it easier for you. Ask for help. This is Donna Barnes, from New York City."
