You have to go to a beauty school to barber school to become a barber and also some people they go to beauty school to become a beautician, cosmetologies. It is a big difference between barber and beautician. In barber you do shave mostly for men and pay per hair cut and beautician they usually do a facial and women hair cuts and mostly layered hair cut with them and also manicured and pedicured they add for the beautician and you can take the barber license and you have to pass the 10 month class, 1,500 hours and one of them we have in Austin, Texas is the Roughlear Barber School and mostly a student they have been attended to a school to pass the 1,500 hours to become a barber and then you have to pass the test at a licensing commission and then they will give you a license and then you will become a barber."
