"Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg in Miami, Florida with Miami Dog Training. In this clip we're going to talk about dog jumping harnesses and this is a tool that can be used if you don't have another means of getting your dog to stop jumping on you. There are other techniques but the dog jumping harness is a nice little tool that works well and it works very similar to a, or it's put on very similar to a regular harness except the main difference is that there is a strip from the harness that comes around the back legs to prevent them from extending their legs in order to jump up. One of the things that's nice about the dog jumping harness is that really it's a way of conditioning the dog versus training the dog, it just kind of never gives them the opportunity to jump so they never, they just never do it and if you start them young enough you'll find that they just won't jump on you and then praise them when they're on the floor with all fours. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training."
