"Slayer also has its own built in effects. They're not as paramitably as the effects in Fruity Loops and the effects channels of the mixer, but they're really nice effects and usually the standard effects you'll find on the guitar, like effects pedal anyway. So I'll show you what these are and how to work them in the FL Studio player. Right down here is labeled the MFX 90 signal processor. If you click on this you immediately will have a list of effects that you can use. The dry one, takes off all the effects. You have phaser, tremolo. Phaser is basically just an effect that you can use and you can change it using these knobs down here. They're labeled as effect parameter one and effect parameter two. To really figure out what they do, you have to go to each individual effect and play it yourself to know what they do. It has the wah wah, and the wah wah LFO, which means that it's the same thing as the wah only it is applied to a low frequency oscillator, which is controlled by these parameters here. The ring mod, which pretty much is like an affected feedback mod, fuzzbox, there's some pretty interesting stuff there. Harmonizer, talk box which makes it sound like some vowels are being played. Chorus and flanger and another phaser, stuff that we've all covered before in effects. A Leslie which is kind of like a tremolo only it pans another tremolo for a different kind. A dub delay which puts in a little echo and a multi-tab which makes it sound like you played the note more than once at the same time. But in very close succession to the sound itself. To really get a grasp with the effects you really have to know them by having used them in your own creations and they'll come to you pretty quickly in messing around with them."
