FL Studio is a program used to create, mix and edit digital music. Formerly known as Fruity Loops, this digital audio workstation includes support for MIDI data and extensive editing features. Files created in FL Studio can be exported to a variety of formats, including MP3 and WAV files. The FL Studio sequencer can be used to generate patterns and beats, as well as to refine pre-existing MIDI files. The program has been used by many composers of electronic dance music and rave music, as well as by songwriters in genres such as country and even classical music. A variety of plug-ins are available for the program which allow you to fine-tune your beats and songs. The "generators" in the program replicate a vast array of sounds and instruments, from oscillators and Moog keyboards to bass guitars and drum synthesizers. This program is fun and easy to use, and has a large network of users. In this free FL Studio tutorial, our expert will tell you how to use the Slayer guitar emulator. Learn how to select you guitar style, strings and pickup, as well as how to use guitar effects such as feedback and phasing. Afraid that your computer will not sound like a guitar? Our expert will recommend ways to make your virtual guitar sound more realistic.
"The F L Studio plug in Slayer is a generator. It's not, doesn't have anything that's like a sound file player. It doesn't have any samples inside it, and it's completely fabricated from using only wav forms. For that it is really good, for what it does. It makes it a fairly realistic guitar sound. And I'll be showing you in this series how to make an even more realistic guitar sound, using third party software that is integrated into the FL Studio plug in effects list. I'll also be showing you how to do that, so you can do it yourself and make your own realistic guitar sounds. This is pretty spiffy for when you want to do stuff like make our garage rock band song or stuff like that, because when you don't have your own guitar or you don't have your own recording apparatus. When you can't even play a guitar yourself or don't know anyone who can, this thing will let you do it yourself using FL studio. And you'll be pretty well informed by the time I'm done talking to you about it because I've been doing it for a long time. And I'll even show you one of my own techniques on how to make your own guitar sounds sound just fine. And I'll show you examples of my work in the how it makes it sound like an actual guitar."
