"The first generator we are going to talk about is the 3xOsc, fully known as the 3x-oscillator. An oscillator is something that, in the most basic sense, is something that just goes back and forth, back and forth. An oscillator, in terms of audio, is something that creates a wave form. The 3x-Oscillator operates on the basic format of using wave forms to create sound, and I'll show you how that works. When you are in free loops and you want to open up a generator, you're going to go up to this menu up on top and click on Channels. Add one and then you have your list of all your available generators. We're going to use a 3xOsc. This is a 3xOsc. We'll be talking about most of what it does in depth in the next few clips, but I just want to show you what it does and what it sounds like when you first open it up. Right now it's using a basic sign wave, and we'll talk about what a sign wave does in the next clip."
