Hey Safi I been taking a hip hop class for 2 months now and find your videos very useful. I live in BC, Canada, would for sure visit your dance studio in new york if I was ever visiting the us since there's alot places there I haven't seen yet. I was wondering what videos would be good to teach someone advanced tuting and other styles of hip hop that would be useful for me?

Hi my name is Keith Fitzpatrick for Hip Hop For Kids and we're going to do something called the toe drag. Now with this slide it is going to be a little different because on the other slide we always do it with the heels or the side of the foot but with the toe drag we're just going to do a different slide. It's going to be more like us turning our upper bodies and you are going to drag your toe and as you come in you'll be here so you are dragging your toe as you slide and you are twisting your upper body this way and you twist here. Now you want to let your toe drag and stop and then your upper body will kind of finish its motion and then you can turn the other way. Here and bring it down but you want to be really smooth and you want to take that first step and let that first step be really big because you have plenty of room to drag your toe and move your upper body. You will be here and slide and drop it down, there's a little melt there at the end of it. So you will be real big, drop it down, switch and drop it. Go really big first move and switch and drop it so one more time you are taking a big step in the very beginning here and drop and just this to close up your body to come all the way down and you'll switch. So with the tempo you will be a big start and that's your toe drag.
