"So there's a few different ways that you can purchase your paper. This paper, the length of this paper is 22 x 30 and this is kind of the way I like to buy paper. This sheet probably cost me about four to five dollars. It's not too expensive, but it's not cut down. You could buy like a pad of this paper and it tends to be a little bit more expensive if you buy paper that's already been cut down. I like to buy paper like this and cut it down myself into individual sizes that I could use, and the first way that I do that is I just fold the paper over onto itself and I make a nice crease. And again you really want to make sure your surface is clean. This table will do. It's not the best nor the worst. Once my crease is nice and even what I'm going to do is I'm going to use the edge of this table, or if I have a straight edge ruler, that actually works really well, I'm going to begin to tear the paper down. This is kind of a reason why I like print making. It's kind of physical. You're starting to work with your materials. You're not just taking a piece of plastic paper out of a box, you know, you really get a feel for it. It's kind of, it's kind of cool. So I'm going to tear this edge down. I'm just going to hold it like this and very carefully I'm going to rip. So I got a nice edge on that and I'm going to fold it over and I'm going to rip it again."
