"Now I'm going to show how to apply different styles of percussion as well as the method you use to do it within Fruity Loops. The first method you've already know very well, is using the sequencer to make you beats using the four basic drums it gives you there. Another way to do it is you go into "Channels" and break out the "FPC", stands for "Fruity Pad Controller". Up here you have pads of various preset sounds, each of these can be interchanged with your own sample should you choose to choose to integrate them. You could put in more than one sample and volume layer then to have different samples for more louder hits or quieter hits for the thing. You bring into "Piano Roll" and are labeled by what drums they are and in the "Piano Roll" you can do the same thing you did in the sequencer only in that, so on and so forth. Another type of drumming and percussion that happens is people find drum loops. Fruity Loops comes with its own set of drum loops, this list here that says "DL" is pretty much the ones that come with all these are the ones I've found on-line Goggling "Free Drum Loops". You can do easily just yourself, it's not that difficult. You use the "Fruity Slicer" what it does is that if "smart" finds the loops to slice and individually puts them in here. Like this and it goes into the "Piano Roll" as well and it usually puts it in its own loop like that. Let me get rid of this. See how that works."
