"Now we have to take a look at balance. And you're saying "well what does success have to do with balance?" Well, success has a whole lot to do with balance. What I want you to do is take a look at this sheet. And I actually want you to write down, draw, this sheet exactly as you see it here on the screen. You're going to draw a circle, basically creating a pie. And I want you to write down the words career, physical, emotional, financial, family, and spiritual. Give each part of the circle one of those titles. And we are going to take a look at where you're at with regards to balance. The first thing that I want you to do is, on a separate page, on a scale of one to ten (we're going to be working with one to ten), you're going to rate yourself in all of these categories. Taking care of my physical health: you're going to rate this, one to ten. Ten, being phenomenal, and one being really lousy. Now, cut yourself a break. Consider where you're at in the moment. You know, are you exactly where you want to be? No, but are you to the other extreme? If you are at the other extreme; if you are in terrible physical condition, you're a diabetic and you don't take your medicine, you're all of these things, then give yourself a one. Okay, maybe you are overweight, maybe you are a diabetic, but are you doing something about it? Then give yourself a five. If you are jogging and working out everyday and eating great, and you are a physical machine, then you can give yourself a ten. But be honest and truthful, and in this moment, but do not be too hard on yourself. You're going to do that with all of the categories. We're going to rate our self one through ten."
