"Ok, the first thing I'll show you with a veil dance after you've learned how to make your own veil is how to hold a veil properly while you're dancing. What you want to do is you want to make sure you have the veil equal length behind you. You want to make it so it has a little bit of a gap behind you, so its not pulled tight - just a little bit of give. And you do that by just slightly bending your arms. Make sure you have a little bit of it hanging down from each side, from each arm. You need about ten inches. And what you want to do is you want to hold it with your hand, you will place the material over your index finger and hold the outside with your thumb, just like this. And then you just want to curve it under a little bit so that people on the outside cannot see that I'm holding it with my thumb. So again, you want to take the material, place your index finger underneath it, hold it with your thumb and just curve it a little underneath. So from the outside, when I take it place on my index finger and hold it with my thumb, you won't see your hand at all. So again, thats proper hand placement for dancing with a veil. This'll help you easily move around and that will give you a tight grip, so if you're about to lose your veil you hold it, squeeze it tightly with your thumbs."
