"Hi, I'm Keith Fitzpatrick, this is easy to learn hip hop, and we're going to go over some isolations with your arms. Isolations, you really want to concentrate on letting one part of your arm move at a time, as opposed to a wave where everything kind of goes the same way. With an isolation, if you were doing choreography and the choreographer said I want you to isolate here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and you're popping each individual movement has a start and stop. So you want to make sure you start, however it starts, you want it to be a start, and a stop, and a start and a stop so if you're just doing a regular arm isolation, you'd be here. Then you'd be here, then you'd be here, then you'd be here, and it's just going to keep going all the way through and stop at each individual place and kind of go all the way through. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, until you end up kind of where you started from, and you don't necessarily have to start and stop with just your arms, they can kind of go all the way through and hit here, and put your head into it. All this can go together, so with an isolation, all that is really is meaning is to isolate each individual movement with a start and a stop, so you want to hit boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. So just make sure you start each movement, and stop, stop, stop, stop. There has to be stops, or you're not isolating, and make sure each time you move, there's just one piece of the puzzle that's moving, okay? So again, it's just going here, stopping, make sure it's one individual little piece each time. And that's your isolation."
