"So, we looked at typical five card draw. Now, California lo-ball is different. First of all, we're playing for a low hand. Second of all, it uses this card right here, one joker, one joker, and it's called the bug. A bug in poker parlance, means that if you get it, it is considered an ace, unless it helps you complete your hand, if your hand is a straight or a flush. Now in lo-ball, actually, it's a little bit different, because a flush won't do you any good, so what you want, is you want to use this as the lowest card in your hand, and that's an ace, because aces can be played high or low. In lo-ball, they're played low, great, so you mix this in, and you shuffle of course, and I'll just do a quick shuffle here, and what we're going to do, is everybody is going to ante. At my table, you ante one red chip, and we're going to run the cards real quick. I say run, it means deal. I learned it from my grandfather, who we called papaw. What can I say? I'm part country. Ok, so to the dealer's left, the person's going to look at his cards, and this is not such a great hand. A pair of aces is no thing to be happy about, when you're playing lo-ball, so he's going to check, and let's say everyone checks around, so what happens? In the next part of the game, we'll see you in the next segment."
