Example of Five-Card Draw

"Hey let's make sure, that we know what five card draw poker is. First of course, you want to shuffle the cards, and then, I'm doing this two player. Everybody at the table antes, so that's you and me, and then you get five cards. I get five cards. We look at our cards, and the action as we say, would be first on you. You're going to look at your cards, and you got a pair of eights, and some diamonds here, but it's three diamonds and not four, so you're going to play on the pair of eights, and you're going to bet or check. Let's say for the sake of doing this quickly, you check. I'm going to look at my cards. I'm ok with my cards, but I'm going to check, and then there's this card. You say you want two. I give you two, and me, well, I'm going to take three. There's three for me. Now there's a round of betting, let's say you really like your hand now, and you say, I'm going to bet two black chips. I call, and now we have a showdown. You show a pair of eights, with an ace kicker, and I show a pair of sixes, and not much else going on. You win the hand. Pot goes to you. That is a quick example of how you play five card draw."
