In this clip for teaching hip-hop dance to kids we're going to be do a little bit of locking choreography. We're put in the fundamentals of locking within our piece. So the first move we're going to do is called the wrist roll. When you wrist roll you want to make a fist with your hand and you want to roll it in towards your body and up to your ear, an then roll it back into your body and down. You guys want to try that? Five, six, seven, eight. Wrist roll up, wrist roll down. Good! So, what we're going to use is wrist roll up, wrist roll down, and then we're going to point. OKay? Five, six, seven, eight. Wrist roll up, point. Five, six, seven, eight. Wrist roll up, point. Alright, after we do that, we're going to point, and then we're going to do a double wrist roll, come down, and lock it twice. OKay? When you lock you want to make sure that your elbows are coming forward. You never want to chug, because that's not locking. Locking is bringing your elbows forward, you want to be lose, so you never want to be tight and look angry. OKay? You guys ready? Five, six, seven, eight. Wrist roll, point, wrist roll, double lock. Try it one more time. Six, seven, eight. Wrist roll up, point, wrist roll up, double lock. That's good you guys.
