"With so many beautiful glasses to choose from, how do you decide what you're going to use for your project? Thinking about this project, we don't have a lot of surface area so I decided to go with one color scheme. I love the warm colors, reds and oranges, so I chose some glasses that are all in the same color field. We can put them together at random and it's just going to make one beautiful, warm-colored piece. For this project I think I'm going to also to pull in some glass beads. Glass beads are a really nice way to add some texture and extra bright colors to your project. I always keep a bowl handy in case I need them for any different project. So, here's a nice red one I can use. This is lovely but a little too big for our wood. Maybe some yellow ones too, to bring out the yellow glass because I only have a little bit of that. In the next segment, I'll show you how to take these big glass pieces and cut them to size and shape so you have nice small pieces for your mosaic."
