Video Transcript

"In order to show your dog how to do a Frisbee catch, you have to get them in the state of mind to be ready to learn. In my previous segments, we talked about agility obstacles. The same thing will apply to Frisbee catch. Whenever you take your dog to the park, normally I will have the Frisbee. But I'll do my best to hide it, not to get the dog too excited. Once you're at the park and you have relaxed, pull out the Frisbee to let the dog know it's time to begin Frisbee catch. This way they won't be overly excited and they'll know that it's time to work. Frisbee catch in essence is another job to do or another job to give your dog, therefore keeping them busy mentally and physically. It's going to keep them more consumed with the right activities than the wrong ones. A lot of unbalanced dogs who dig too much, bite, bark or any other incessant behaviors generally find relief in Frisbee catch because it gives them a constructive job."
