"Can my dog get injured from Frisbee catch? I certainly always let customers know that if you feed your dog the right food, give them routine exercise, it will definitely insure that their mind and body and muscles are in shape for more strenuous trick activities. Frisbee definitely requires a dog to run at fast amounts of speed and judge a disk of when it's going to come down. It's going to require quick movement and the ability to start and stop in a timely, quick fashion. With the right food, the regular exercise, walking daily and learning how to start and stop by practicing with the disk, it definitely will insure your dog's joints are more lubricated and able to handle the requirements of frisbee catch. I would recommend practicing on flat ground to start, with no hills or excessive drop offs, just to make sure your dog doesn't experience quick turns that might stress a limb."
