In this section we're going to go over the variations on the basic kicks we learn before, called jump kicks. The first variation we're going to go over is called the jump snap. We're going to bring up our left leg, jump into the air and kick. So once again, knee up, kick. It's just like the snap kick from before, but, we're leaping into the air. So all together now, jump kick. The next variation we're going to go over is called the jump hook kick. Just like the hook kick from before, we're going to turn that way as we kick, kicking off to the side in a rounded motion. We're going to bring our left knee, jump and kick. Once again, knee up, kick. One more time, knee up and kick. So the two kick we went over, the jump kick and the jump hook kick can be done at any height. And when we're doing our kicks, it's important to bring our knee up high to give us good height in our jump. If we only take a small jump, it won't be much of a jump kick. We need to be in the air when our foot makes impact with whatever we're kicking. So we're going to do the jump snap kick with our knee nice and high. And also the jump hook kick bringing our knee up.
