"Alright, now in this section we are going to be installing the new front cross member. Basically what this part is for is to allow the control arms to drop another four inches. This is what is actually giving the vehicle the lift. What I'm going to do is be attaching the new cross member to where the old control arms were. Before bringing this cross member and bolt them in to the opposite side, you need to remove the factory skid guard because the sky jacker kit comes with a new custom skid plate. Alright once you have the cross member in place, you're going to take the impact while holding on to the lock washer or lock nut on the other side. Torque it down and what you'll notice is you have a cross washer in here. As soon as these brackets flush out with the opposite side you are good to go. And that's how the cross member is installed."
