"Now we're going to transfer, when our flag is done we are going to transfer the flag unto the cake. Now if, if it feels a little too soft to work with you can leave it on the work surface and let it dry a little, but you don't want it to get too dry or it will be cracking, the fondant cracks when you move it when it dries. Now use a nice big spatula and get your hand underneath it and then just position the flag where you like it, and it drapes really nicely and you can put little wrinkles in it, press it to the cake any places where you want it to stick. And if you want to prop up a bit like that, you can take a bit of fondant and make a little bit of a wedge or something to prop up and make it look a little more drapey, and that's pretty. Now we'll add some stars around the cake and some fireworks."
