"Now we'll roll out some red for the stripes of our born, and again you want to put on a good amount of confectioner sugar. And roll out a nice piece about an eighth of an inch think. Making sure that it's not sticking there. The confectioner sugar can be wipe off later, or at the, when you're all finished you can take a moistened brush and just brush the extra, excess confectioner sugar off. Now you can cut your stripes with a knife, just want to make sure that it still is not sticking to the born. We can cut our stripes with a knife, free hand like this. And you'd use a knife, sharp knife, and very carefully move it. Now with the fondant is very soft, you can wait just a few minutes and as it dries, it gets a little stiffer. So if you find that it's not cutting straight, and it's a little too soft for the cutting, then just wait a little bit. You don't want to wait too long because then it will become too dry and it can likely crack. Now you can also get one of these tools in a specialty cake decorating store. And this is for cutting fondant into strips or ribbons. And, this is also a nice, a nice tool to have and you can just roll it along once to set it up. You roll it along and you get some nice, very even stripes cut. I'll take that one off. And pull them away carefully without stretching. You want to pull them away from each other. OK."
