"Next thing I'm going to show you is called the hip thrust. And for the hip thrust you want to make sure you're in proper position. You want to make sure your arms are tucked under, knees slightly bent and chest is lifted. And for this one we're going to add just a simple twist to it. You want to put one foot forward, that is there just for balance. You want to twist up and drop. We're just going to practice the twist for right now. So let's twist up and drop. The twist comes in at a slight angle and down. Again the forward foot is just for there for balance. It's twist and drop, twist and drop. And now the other foot, bring the foot forward, twist your hip up, again we'll just practice the twist first, twist and drop, twist and drop, twist and drop. Now to put it together, you want to bring your foot forward, twist on the hip, as the foot, as the hip comes back bring the foot back in place. Again bring the foot forward, twist and as the hip comes back the foot comes back. Step forward, twist, and back. Hip forward and back, hip forward and back. Again, foot forward, hip forward and hip forward, foot forward. Now we'll put it together a little quicker. And forward, forward, forward and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight. This is your hip thrust."
