"O.k., the next move I'm going to show you is called the Shimmy. This is one of the most popular Belly Dance moves and everybody always wants to learn how to do a Shimmy. The Shimmy, you want to make sure you are in good posture, what we're going to do is start by moving our knees, and what we do is move our knees back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Bending and lifting, bending and lifting. Forward, forward, forward, just from the knees. O.k.? We're just working this all in the knees. A Shimmy is derived all from your knees, so bringing it forward, just in the knees and we're just going to pick up the pace a little bit, and the faster you go the more of a Shimmy you give up. And this is how you do a Shimmy. So again, it's just moving your knees back and forth, and from the side, back and forth, back and forth, keeping that chest lifted, back and forth, and pick up the pace. You can stay at your own pace, you can go at a medium pace, you can keep it real slow, back and forth, back and forth. For some people, this does take some time. So again, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Pick up the pace, bring it forward, and this is your Shimmy. Back and forth, back and forth."
