"The next thing I'm going to show you is a really popular belly dance move. It's called the shoulder shimmy. Again, this may come to you very naturally or it may take you a while to build up the speed on it. What you want to do is make sure you're in correct posture and what what you want to do is bring your shoulder forward. Bring it forward and flat, okay? So bring it forward and up, forward and flat, forward and flat, forward and flat, alternating shoulders. And you can stay at this pace until you feel like you can pick up the pace a little bit more. So we're just going to do that double, forward, forward, forward, forward. And bring up the pace a little bit more and we're going to go into a shoulder shimmy. And again, we just build it up slow, so slow, hit, hit, hit, hit, double time and shoulder shimmy. Again, you want to be conscious that your bottom half is not moving. It helps when you're wearing the coin or the hip scarf. That way you shouldn't hear too much reverb, you will be hearing a little bit, but you don't want to hear a full on twist. You just want to hear a little shimmer out of it at most. Again this is a shoulder shimmy. And shimmy, shimmy."
