"Next I'm going to talk to you about wrist turns. Wrist turns can be a very beautiful move just on it's own when you are belly dancing. A wrist turn looks like this. What you want to do is you want to keep your hands, your fingers very soft, and we're going to turn circles right at the wrists. You don't want to have a stiff hand and try to go around in circles. It's not going to come across correctly. Just a relaxed hand; you don't want to be pointing. You just want to turn slowly right at the wrist. Letting the fingers kind of just relax. Again, not stiff like this, not pointing, or with the pinky. You just want to turn circles. Keep a relaxed hand, relaxed fingers. It's a very beautiful move that we can use. It can be an accent. A belly dancer can bring their hand down when you’re performing. You can actually put the attention right onto your hand by looking at that hand when you're dancing. You can bring it up. Again, if you're just going to do this it can be a move all in itself. You want to bring attention to it from the audience by staring at it. We can bring it back down. It's usually done pretty slowly. This would be about the pace you want to keep it. You can also keep it very slow; intro to a song or a finale. You can add both hands. You can bring them up in front of you. There is a lot of different things you can do with this. This is just called a wrist turn. It's a very beautiful accent move."
