The next thing I'm going to talk to you about is Choreography. Choreography is great, especially for duets and group dances. It's also great if you don't feel comfortable yet with dancing to improv. Choreography is, when you take a song that you love, and you know very well, and you put a whole dance together that's already preplanned. The good thing that I always tell my students, if you're going to do a choreography dance, make sure you try improving to the same dance. Because sometimes when you're on stage, or you're performing, you can become blank. You can forget what you're doing. You don't want to be in the middle of a dance and just freeze. You want to be able to just pick up and at least do something else until you can get back into your place again. Choreography is great, if you're going to go out a choreography dance, just make sure that you know your space, practice in small and large places, because you never know what you'll get into later on. Just make sure you know the dance and the song very well. If you pick a song that you love from the beginning, then you'll love to dance to it over and over and over again. So make sure your choreography is something that fun, something you want to dance to, and something you just love to do.
