"Let's talk about another protein called collagen. Collagen is underneath the skin sort of like glue hold things together. It will make the skin look tighter. But collagen has to regenerate and degenerate, and when you are you the regenerating rate is much faster. So you can always keep the younger looking because even the collagen keep breaking down but you have faster rate of regeneration. But when you past certain age for women especially after forty years old, because the growth hormone is decreasing, this collagen degeneration is faster than regeneration. So you sort of losing the collagen with the time. And that will make the skin wrinkles up and also make the muscle sagging. So with increase of growth hormone you kind of accelerating the collagen regeneration and that will gradual reverse the skin condition and make the skin go back to the younger looking."
