"We just demonstrated using heart 7 to help create narcotic drugs. Why we choose heart 7? Scientists used the rat to test how heart 7 influence the rat when they withdraw from the morphine. So first Scientists gave the rats morphine with increase dosage everyday, twice a day for three days. And for only three days, the animals developed addiction to morphine. Then they stop morphine for fifteen days, so the rats shows all the withdraw symptoms like agitation, increase appetite, running around. So then Acupuncture will be applied to this heart 7 point, and the tail and other points, the other side of the wrist, it's called the Triple Warmer 8, they compare the effect of using heart 7 and the tail points to see how they reduce the hyper activity caused by morphine challenge. So after withdraw, they apply morphine again, and then the group with heart 7, shows less symptom compared with the group without Acupuncture."
