Next thing I'm going to take you through is a warm up. You want to make sure you warm up and cool down every single time you practice or dance. A warmed up muscle is less likely to get injured or get hurt and you are less likely to have an injury if you're warmed up properly. So, always make sure you're warmed up. It just takes a few minutes. Usually I like to recommend to students five to ten minutes. And you can be warmed up it'll keep you safe. So we're going to start our warm up. We're going to take a deep breath in, and release. Deep breath in, we're just doing the upper body for this clip, and release. Deep breath in, and release. We want to keep our posture while we're doing this. Tail bone tucked under, knees slightly bent, deep breath in, and release. One last time, deep breath in, and release. Next we're going to do shoulder rolls. Shoulder, one at a time, going back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back, back. And bring it forward, forward, forward, forward, forward, forward, and forward. We're just going to roll our head from side to side also. Make sure your ear does not go past your shoulders. Side, side, side, side, hold it to one side, and roll to the other side and hold it to one side. Add a few more of these on for yourself to add on to your warm up so you can be completely warmed up so you don't get injured.
