"When you're designing lingerie, have fun with it. Obviously, go look at Victoria Secret. Half the stuff is not really technically wearable, though it's not feasible. These I drew as bikini bottom underwear and I added bows to it. These are more underwear that you're going to design to be seen. You can't really wear a pair of pants over them because of the bows, it would be bulky. But when you're drawing them it doesn't matter. Let your imagination run wild and just have fun, not that bows are like oohhh out there, but you're not ever really going to wear that underneath regular clothes. You're going to wear that as its own piece of clothing. So have fun, make it stand out. This I did a low, below the navel bikini line waistband and then there are low riders on the hips. Then I had, I did diagonals, figure out what do you want and I didn't even have a pattern. Then your bow on each side and above on each side when you are actually drawing them or when you actually go to make the garment, it could really tie them together or it could just be a design detail."
