Why design fashion for models? According to J.P. Prewitt, famous hand model of Bulova fame, models are genetically constructed to become something great: “They’re in peak physical condition. They can gain entry to the most secure places in the world. And most important of all, models don’t think for themselves. They do as their told.” It seems only natural for mothers to want their girls designing fashion and accessories for these legendary lookers. Because of the popularity of shows like Project Runway, fashion design has become a potential career readily consumed by our tweenagers and teenie-boppers. In this free fashion design video series, professional fashion designer Laurel Armstrong offers ideas for a lingerie collection with all kinds of panties and lingerie bottoms. Laurel covers many kinds of boy shorts with designs, fabrics, and inspirations. She also gives tips on bikini underwear, granny panties, lace, and where to find inspiration for lingerie collections.

"Sometimes you may design, or decide you want to design, a lingerie collection. It doesn't have to be fuffy camisoles and nighties. It can be just regular old underwear. That's what I have done here. This is my variation number one on the boy shorts. And, as you can see, they're very, underwear is very easy to render, you just look at the lines of the body and then find the correct placement. So, with these, figure how low there to the navel, figure out how low you want them to go, then how high up on the legs and draw them in accordingly. Here, say I want them right there, and I want it right there and I want to dip in below the navel and like with these I designed them to have the contrasting band, but you don't have to do that. And you could have all one color. Very simple."
