In this segment of kids and golf we're going to show a good putting drill for kids. Gage Anderson is seven years old, pretty accomplished golfer, playing since he's two, and he plays a lot. But a very good drill is to start very short, get some success, further, further, further, further, that way they learn direction and distance. So Gage let's see you start hitting that short one. Move on. And on. Now Gage is a very good player, a good putter, it's not easy to make these putts, obviously. But the more you do it the better you get. Now this time, a nice follow through, aim at the left side of the hole. Nice big follow through. Now that's something we've been working on, and even though the ball didn't go in, if you keep doing that drill with youngsters, they're going to get a feel for distance and direction. And when you come to the golf course and practice, every time you come here, do you practice your putting? Yes. Yea and it really does help and next time maybe he'll make a few more, but to me that's good putting. And with juniors start them out short, longer, longer, longer. And if they don't make them, if the ball doesn't go in, just to encourage them this is a very good thing to do. Does that help? I'll take that as a no, the great Gage Anderson.
