"As I pointed out earlier in his stance, he's standing relatively far from the ball. And from that position if you swing your arms up, gosh you have no power. You can't swing upright standing far away. If you're close to the ball you also can't swing flat. You have to swing upright. Close, upright. Far away, flat. And Arnold Palmer's back swing certainly was flat. Just about shoulder height. Now from that position, if you swing flat, and make a full arm swing, full. In other words, you don't just stop here. And you don't have to think about turning your shoulders or your hips. If complete, if you complete your arm swing, complete, complete complete, don't stop keep going, going, going, that basically Arnold Palmer's back swing. Arms, arms, arms, arms, arms, arms, arms, arms, arms. And that's the idea, that your arms are dictating the shoulder turn, the hips turn, the weight transfer. It's flat, and it’s full. Flat and full. The Arnold Palmer back swing, swing it flat, swing it full. And that's the way to do it."
