Video Transcript

"So one of the questions I get asked a lot is, "what do I do with my photographs?" And, you know, "how do I begin to show them?" Or, "what do I do in terms to get a show?" And, having a show means different things to different people. Some people might consider having a show, a show in a gallery or a show in a museum. Other people might consider having a show, a show in a restaurant, or coffee shop or a library, in a public place. And all those are really great places to begin having a show. But there's just a little bit of prep work you want to do before you try to show your work out in public. One of the best ways that I know to start collating your work is think of a subject or a theme that you want your show to be of. Now it could be something as simple as to be nature or it could be as complex to where it's, you know, a project in your community that you're documenting. But once you think about that in that way, it will make gathering your work together to get a show much easier for you and much easier for you to talk about. What your work is about."
