"With a completely covered rubber band like this, I'm going to show you how to add another level, but using a different color. So the way we're going to start our connection is, we're going to take the end of our yarn, we're going to wrap it around our finger, until we get this little pretzel shape, and then take your needle and grab that yarn right there, and hold onto the end and pull it through, and we have our first loop. Now with our loop on our needle, you're going to go anywhere you want to in here; I don't recommend using our ending space, and you can see where my last knot is. This is where, for the first level that the pattern begin and end. So there's a lot of stress on this point, so I'm not going to start it right there. What I'm going to do is I'm going to go over a few spaces, and just like if we were continuing with the same color, I'm going to go directly underneath the loop and pull my yarn through, and I've got the two loops, and then I'm going to pull it just like that, very similar to how we started the yarn around the rubber band. And then I'm going to chain up one and up two. And now we have our height set to add our new color in a double crochet all the way around. So to continue this, you just want to go underneath and pull it through, and pull it through. And just continue to work underneath every single little chain, and then we'll show you how to close it up."
