"So, you're thinking about improv comedy and maybe you should take a class. I want to talk to you now about why should you take an improve class. I have an improv school and I have people taking my classes for all sorts of reasons. And I want to let you know some of the reasons people take improv classes and what they get out of it. Obviously, the most often, the most common reason is people want to learn improv comedy. They often want to perform improv comedy. So you get a lot of people who are actors, comedians, magicians, musicians that want to add to their performance skills and that's one reason to take an improv comedy class. Actors find it helps them get better in auditions, when they're on the spot, taking direction, maybe the script gets changed, they don't have a lot of time with the script. Improv can really help you in those audition situations. And also on set when things are constantly changing. A lot of people take improv classes for the, to meet people. And it's a really fun social thing to do. They can make friends and connect with people in a new way by playing games with them. Another reason people take improv classes is to get over stage fright or nervousness in social situations. So improv can really create a safe environment for you to try new things and get out of your shell a little bit. A lot of people take improv classes to get back in touch with their creativity. Some people are blocked. Maybe they're writers, maybe they're artists. Maybe they just want to have, have fun again and improv can help loosen them up and learn how to have fun and be playful. I've even had people take classes because they want learn how to play with their kids or, and then a lot of people find surprising benefits from improv classes. They find it helps them ace job interviews or get along better with their spouse, or write their dissertation or take less medication, whatever it is, there's a lot of applications for what improv can do for your life, whether you're interested in performance or just for personal development, improv classes offer a lot of options."
