"Now that we have our new color attached and already chained up two for our height, we are going to continue to work. Now we have this ribbed crochet going to where this column is in the front and the second one is in the back. So we are just going to keep up within. Just go ahead and wrap your yarn around your needle so you got your one complete loop and your extra piece. And you're just going to slide your needle behind that stack. Pull it up. Pull through the first two and through the second two. Its so easy to add a new color. And you will see that the yarn just kind of wrap around right there in the front. And its very easy to see on this piece that I have, where the white is wrapped around this dark blue. You can see how the loops just kind of hook around it. Because all this whole pattern does is that is just grabs these stacks and it pulls them forward. That's what gives us this wonderful ribbed effect. Its so easy to switch out your colors. Once you get it attached and you make sure that you chain up two to keep the right height going because remember, we want to keep our edges straight. You just continue to do the double crochet alternating backwards and forwards. And just keep going all the way around, a long your row and you will see that you have completed a new row. You can change your colors as frequently or as infrequently as you like. Of course, you can stay one color the whole way. You can change your colors every other row. But, of course, that takes more time. But for any simple project like this especially with this ribbed crochet, its so easy to change your colors. It adds just that much more to it. Makes it look that much more detailed. Its really so easy to do and so easy to keep going on this ribbed crochet with the double crochet pattern alternating backwards and forwards."
