"Now that we have completed two rows after our initial chain, I am going to show you how to start the third row. And again, you are going to turn your piece over and with your loop on your needle, you are going to chain up two. So there is one and there's two. And you just really want to make sure you pay attention on your needle placement when you go to do your first double crochet. Because if you add anything extra, it is going to cause your scarf to skew and either open up or close. And we just really want to make sure that we keep our sides nice and straight. So we are going to wrap the yarn around our needle and since we already have this developed, its a lot easier to see where you are going. So since this is sticking out, your needle slides right behind it nice and easy. You can pull it up. Your yarn through the first two and through the second two. And again, since this one is facing back, it's real easy just to slide your needle in over your chain. Just slide it in just like that. And you see there it is on top of the needle. Just pull it through. We got our three loops. Through the first two and through the second two. And you can really start to see our ribs developing as we continue to add rows. You can go with this as long as you want. And of course, just work out any kinks in your yarn. But just keep working. Again, the more that your columns are developed, the easier it will be to just slide your needle in and out. Its going right through there. Pull your yarn through. And you will just continue to work this way until you get to the end and I will show you how to close it up. Make sure that we keep this nice straight side for the rest of our pattern."
