"Now that we've completed our first row of double crochets we can start working on our pattern. Now, with our loop from closing out those last one. On our needle we're going to just turn it around. We've got our loop here and because we're doing a double crochet we're going to chain up two times. So, there is one and there's two. Now, what we're going to do is we're going to start working with our columns. You see all these little columns that this pattern has created. So, we're going to do; is we're going to wrap some yarn around because it's a double crochet. We're going to come in through the front and then wrap around the column and stick our needle back out through the back. You see we've got our whole column resting on top of our needle. Now, you're going to take the yarn and pull it all the way through which makes it go behind this column and see it makes that column stand out. So, I've got these three right here we're going to pull it through the first two and we're going to pull some yarn through the second two. Because it's just the standard crochet we're just grabbing our yarn behind this column to make it stand out. Now, for our next one we're going to wrap our yarn around. We're going to stick our needle in through the back, right next to where that column was. We're going to go in front of this column and out through the back. You see we've still got our column on top of our needle, but it's just backwards. From the front of the piece you see the needle. So, you're going to pull your yarn through and get your piece back straight to where you're looking at the front of it. You see you've still got your three loops. Pull your yarn through the first two and pull it through the second two. There, you see this is really in the front and this is really in the back. Now, if you don't want to do every other one you can do every two or every three. However you want. I just like the way that this looks because it came out really well on here. So, again I'm just going to go through the front, around the back, pull it through and do the first two and do the second two. You just want to keep alternating until you get all the way to the end. I'll show you how we're going to take care of that little piece from when we curled up our first chain."
