"At this point the next step will be to size and shape the top. I have already created a shoulder that is 1 and 1/16 inch in diameter and flattened it so that it fits nicely inside the body. We check the total height to see that it is 8 inches. I can be plus or minus 1/16 off of that. I have turned a tendon back down on the fixture to take the 1/4 inch hole. I have actually drilled the hole just slightly larger than 1/4 inch only because the shaft that runs through is exactly 1/4 inch. Bring the body to round; size it to 2 and 1/4. We're almost there and I'll be parting off the excess, get it almost down to size, take the top, because the top is basically round but I'm flattening it, I'm changing the center a little bit towards the base."
